06 Nov Join the celebrations for Southwark Chamber’s 95th anniversary
Southwark Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 95 years of supporting business in Southwark – join them for the festivities on 16 December.
The event runs from 6pm to 8.30pm at LSBU Business School in Borough Road and features an opening address by Sir Simon Hughes.
Sir Simon is current Chancellor of LSBU and former Lib Dem MP for Bermondsey & Old Southwark for over 30 years. Guests will also have the opportunity to see the changes from past, present and future in business – 1924 to now, to 2114.
Chamber Chair Les Johnson said: “Southwark Chamber of Commerce has seen great changes in business and industry in our borough since 1924 to present day. What could we expect to see in 2114? At the start people then could never have imagined today’s wonderous technology which we all now take for granted.”
Book your ticket for £25 which includes finger buffet and arrival drink. Cash bar will be available.
Southwark Chamber of Commerce is indebted to British Land for their sponsorship and London South Bank University for their appreciated continuing support.
