Southwark Business Excellence Awards 2020 are proud to announce London South Bank University as headline sponsor with British Land, Landsec and Lendlease sponsoring ‘Women in Business’, ‘Best Employer’ and ‘Independent Retailer’, respectively.

Organised by Southwark Chamber of Commerce, with the support of Southwark Council, the awards programme has been designed to appeal to every type and size of enterprise from start-ups to SME’s and large corporates. They celebrate the successes and achievements of the borough’s large and vibrant business community.

Following the launch on January 21, businesses will be able to apply for up to three, free-to-enter categories through this website. An online guide will take entrants from the initial registration process through to the final submission stage.
After the spring closing date for entries, a shortlist will be drawn up and the successful companies will be invited to submit for the second round of judging, which involves an interview.
The entire adjudication process will be robust and impartial and feature expert judges.
The Awards winners and runners up – including the overall Southwark Business of the Year – will be exclusively announced at a glittering, black-tie Gala Awards Dinner in a prestigious venue later in the year. More than 400 guests will not only enjoy the awards presentations, but also networking drinks, a fabulous meal and an evening of first class entertainment hosted by a celebrity compere.
