15 Nov LSBU supporting employers increase customer loyalty through mastering digital marketing
Most companies are ‘doing digital’ but nearly 50% lack a defined strategy. Even fewer have created an omnichannel strategy that looks at how physical and digital marketing intersect. LSBU was the first university to introduce the Digital Marketer Degree apprenticeship in January 2019. The second cohort which started in September saw the number of apprentices double.
Our Digital Marketer Degree apprenticeship was developed to support apprentices make an immediate impact in their organisations with a unified and coherent cross-channel strategy that secures customer loyalty. Apprentices will learn about:
- How does the new digital consumer behave, and how does marketing look different in the social-digital age?
- What is content marketing and why is it so important?
- What metrics tell us if content marketing is working?
- How do search engines work and why is search so central to digital marketing success?
- How do we leverage social networks for mobile advertising?
- What is location-based mobile marketing and how does it fit into an omnichannel approach?
- What is the omnichannel customer journey – what are the touchpoints and how does it convert into a strategy?
LSBU’s next start is January 2020 and we are accepting applications now. Please get in touch with the team to see how this apprenticeship will work for your business.
